Centurion Pre-Approved Early Intervention Package Includes:
- Up to 4 Therapy sessions (hand therapy and physio) are approved under EI. The allocation of type of therapy sessions will be determined by IMA when appointments are booked through RediMed reception.
- Up to 4 GP appointments are also approved under EI.
- No routine communication or reporting is required during the initial EI phase.
- Centurion's preference is that any relevant information is handed over to the GP during this period, as the GP is their primary point of communication.
- Workers will receive a Workers Compensation Certificate at each GP appointment.
- Scans can be approved where clinically indicated and recommended by the GP.
Reporting Requirements
- No initial report is required within the first 4 physiotherapy sessions.
- If the worker requires a 5th therapy session, therapist is to assess further:
o If the 5th session is simply to finalise and discharge the case, no report is required.
o If you believe the worker will require ongoing therapy beyond the 5th session, complete an Initial Report at that stage outlining your clinical findings and recommendations (which can be billed as per an initial report).
